  • Conduct interviews via instant messaging only (no video or phone)
  • Send checks and ask you to wire money back
  • Offer unrealistic salaries for minimal work
  • Use unofficial email addresses (Gmail, Yahoo, etc.)
  • Pressure you to act immediately
  • Request bank account or credit card information

How to Identify Legitimate StartTekk Communications

✅ LEGITIMATE Indicators:

  • ✅ Email from @startekk.net or @starworkforce.net domains ONLY
  • ✅ Official job postings on our website or LinkedIn
  • ✅ Professional interview process (phone, video, or in-person)
  • ✅ NO upfront fees or payments requested
  • ✅ Clear job description and requirements
  • ✅ Verifiable recruiter name and contact information

🚨 FRAUDULENT Indicators:

  • ❌ Email from Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, or other free services
  • ❌ Requests for payment, bank info, or credit card details
  • ❌ Unsolicited job offers without application
  • ❌ Poor grammar, spelling errors, or unprofessional language
  • ❌ Pressure to act immediately or provide personal info
  • ❌ Interviews only via text message or instant chat
  • ❌ Offers that seem too good to be true

Our Official Domains

We ONLY use these official email domains:

  • @startekk.net
  • @starworkforce.net

Any other email domain is NOT legitimate. If you receive a job offer or recruitment message from any other domain, it is a scam.

What We Will NEVER Ask For

  • ❌ Social Security Number before official offer
  • ❌ Money for background checks, training, or equipment

If you're unsure whether a communication is legitimate:

  1. Check the email domain: Must be @startekk.net or @starworkforce.net

  4. Look up the recruiter: Search LinkedIn for their profile
